Devoted uncle and guiding presence to Xarique Thalik Carter, with whom he shared a special bond—spending time together, exploring new places, and creating memories that will live on forever.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Magistrate Oliver Justin Marcus Thomas will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The tributes will begin at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. White floral arrangements may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The body of the late Magistrate Oliver Thomas will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
