So sorry to hear of Pearl's passing. Death is certainly an enemy of us all. Whether young or old, the pain still hurts. True comfort can be found in God's Word at Revelation 21:3,4. I hope that you find the needed comfort.

So sorry for the loss of your loved one. But it is so comforting to know that God longs to resurrect our loved ones too. Job 15:15 says that he longs for the work of his hands. And John 5:28, 29 tells us that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. That is comforting and it gives us hope and something good to look forward to in the very near future. May the family have peace during this difficult time.
