Sending my sincere condolences to all the Goddard family. Uncle Roger was a great man, not only an excellent doctor but also so clever and humorous, always with a great story or a practical joke up his sleeve. He was so kind over many years to me and to my parents, George and Anthea Dowglass; we all loved the happy times spent at Quendale, Clearwater and the Yacht Club with him and Jean. Rest in Peace; you deserve it after a lifetime of helping others.

It is with fond memories of evenings on the veranda at Quendale that i think of 'Uncle' Roger. As a child, we'd all be gathered at one end whilst the 'adults' had more fun at the other, and then later when visiting Barbados with my parents, or my own children, there is always a visit to the Goddard's, especially if there was a Christmas play being put on!
I'd like to think of you sailing away to the next adventure and to reunite with Jean and others waiting over the horizon.
Our thoughts are with your family today and in all the time ahead.
Gideon (Giddy Ben) - for all of he Adey's

Dear Uncle Roger
How lucky I am to have known you for 66 years.
I loved your wit and wisdom, your blue cap and blue Jean jacket and your great love of Mozart! My last words to you were to go down to the boat, all are waiting: Jean, Joanie, Michael, Doris and Lawrence and many more (donโ€™t forget Charlie, I said)
I saw a twinkling in your eye when I sang our song.
Carlie will greet you; she wants the first dance! love to you and my dear cousins Meliss (Tessa Bear)
