I worked for Randall as a teenager when he was in charge of Simpsons Supernarket; my mother Marjorie Richards was one of his cashiers. I was impressed by his polite manner and he was always trying to encourage me to practice my Spanish. I am happy he was blessed with a full and happy life. To God be the glory.

Dear Ann, I often think about Randall and you in St Vincent. I was saddened to hear of his passing and I am writing to give my condolences. Herbert, Marjorie, Anthony and Ron have also passed on, but they all thought very highly of Randall. He was a very kind gentleman, whom I will never forget. R.I.P.
Sincerely,
Ian

The Society for a Quieter Barbados is saddened at the passing of one of our founder members. Mr. Goddard was a quiet yet effective member who made a sizeable contribution to the SQB. A few years ago he called to express his continuing support even as he noticed some decline in our impact on the noisy Barbadian environment.

Our condolences are tendered to the Goddard family.

Make he rest quietly.

Dear Ann
Nicola and I were shocked at Mr Randall's passing. I enjoyed working with him during my time at GEL from 1981 until he retired. May he rest in peace

Dear Ann I am thinking of you all so much at this sad time. Randall was so very special. I can see him now, standing at the door of Harrisons, always so gracious and welcoming. May he rest in peace.
My sincerest sympathy to you and all the family.

We knew Randall mainly through Barbara, his sister and Sue his niece and it is to them and his wife and family that we mainly offer our sincerest condolences. What we have read recently confirms our impression of an eminently kind, warm and caring gentleman. Barbados will be a poorer and sadder place without him. In Ireland we have a special prayer for such as him: “Ar dheis De go raibh a anam”. (May his soul be at God’s right hand).
We will pray for his soul and consolation for his family.
