ROSE ROBERTS

Rose Claire Roberts, 72, of Fair Holmes Garden, Maxwell, Christ Church, departed on October 16, 2023.
A devout woman of faith and a pillar in her church, Rose’s love for Jesus was evident in her lifelong service and leadership. She was preceded in death by her husband. Howard Claremont Roberts, her mother Hilma Anita Hadaway and her father St. Clair Robinson. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and guidance, having provided counsel to countless individuals.
She is mourned by her daughter Nicole Scarborough, along with grandchildren Kai Hadaway, Desia Hamiel, and Chance Scarborough, and her siblings Lavern Hadaway, Kirt Williams, Bernadette Linton Harris, Geneva Diaz, Faye Cato, and Shawn Robinson.
Connected by blood and spirit to the Hadaway, Robinson, and Roberts families across St. Vincent and in foreign lands, Rose also leaves behind her cousins Maxwell and Elvis Wateman, Jeannine James, and Marcella Dublin.
Her absence will be profoundly felt by Pastor Orman Jones, her friends at The Calvary Deliverance Tabernacle, and by those whose lives she touched, including Gemma King-Alexander, Moneth Bushay, Delores Powell, Mr. Barrow, Leslie Reifer, Anna Phillips, and the AKU Unit staff, among others.
A graveside service to celebrate her profound impact and unwavering faith is scheduled for Thursday, November 09, 2023, at Westbury Cemetery. Attendees are asked to gather at 10:00 a.m. Floral tributes are welcome at Lyndhurst Funeral Home by 7:30 a.m. on the day of the service.
