ERNEST STEPHEN HINKSON, aged 74, better known as “Steve”, Hinky”, Hinkman” of 232, Cane Garden Park, St. Thomas formerly of Baker’s Plantation, St. Peter entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2016. Owner and Chairman of Canada House, former member of the Barbados Cricket Association, Wanderers and former captain of Carlton Cricket Club. Husband of Jeanne Hinkson. Father of Sarah Hinkson-Kissoon and Rebecca Hinkson. Father-in-law of Satcha Kissoon and Jeremy Roach.Grandfather of Xavier and Zachary Kissoon. Brother-in-law of Madeleine Brochu, Adhemar and Gerard Simard, Gisele Marquis and the late Rachel and Rodrigue Simard (all of Quebec, Canada).Relative of Richard, Linda and Giselle Roach and Ann Hanoman and Shauna Kissoon. Close family friend and friend of many too numerous to mention. The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Saturday, January 23, 2016, for The Chapel at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 a.m. for the service and interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Ward MICU would be graciously accepted. The body of the late Stephen Hinkson will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
