Susan trained with 30 others in set 74/2 at The Royal Masonic Hospital London as State Registered Nurses. An amazing training. All of us, first time away from home and family. We all bonded immediately and what a time we had. Following training, we all eventually left the hospital for other fields. Some managed to keep in touch. Many did not. Last year in April we had a reunion in London of 20 of us. Was just 40 years apart. Sue was there. No one stopped talking and the memories we shared. We are meeting at Westminster Abbey in London in May this year at a tribute to Florence Nightingale. Susan was coming. Her nurse colleagues and friends of 1974 will hold a personal tribute and sip a toast to dear Sue who we all miss but smile at her lovely memory.
