HARPER – SYLVIA AUGUSTA, aged 94, of Heddings Development, St. Philip entered into rest on January 09, 2023. Former member of the St. Martin Anglican Church Choir. Wife of Fitz Aubrey Harper. Mother of Angela Grant, Colin, Tyrone, Clarence and Wayne Harper. Grandmother of Christopher, Jennifer, Dean, Shaka, Damien, Kayaode, Gavin and Jessica Harper, the late Andrea and Alvin Grant. Great-grandmother of A-Jani, Alexis, Bobby and Ethan. Sister of Hazel Cox (USA), the late Carlton St. Clair Lashley (Former Police Superintendent) and 3 others. Aunt of Marvo Browne, Gail Williams, Bruce Skeete, Simonetta Cox, Jacqué, Ryran, Clair, Brian and the late Sharon Lashley. Cousin of Lucille Pile and many others. Mother-in-law of Jennifer, Doriel and Barbara Harper and the late Richard Grant. Sister-in-law of Judy Lashley. Relative of the Callender and Hunte families. Friend of Mrs. Hether Carew, Mr. and Mrs. Blackman and the St. Martin Anglican Church family. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Martin’s Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. followed by the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for the St. Martin Anglican Organ Fund during the pre-viewing on Monday and again during the service. Mourning colours are optional by special request. The body of the late Sylvia Augusta Harper will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
