If she didn't outlive all the many friends she had, there wouldn't be space left on here. She was memorable and a good dependable mother and aunt. May Angie, Ron, Richard, Joe, Pony, and Winston brag about her for years to come. The Seale family childhood and upbringing is intertwined with the Brooker family. That fabric of life has so many pleasant, good, enjoyable memories. Ruby seems to have been a constant participant as an adult but more importantly as one of the gang. We loved it. Be strong and these fond memories close.

I remember my Aunt Rubes as a very strong matriarch, a creative mother who worked hard for her husband and children's welfare. She was tough, knew how to stretch a dollar to provide a good meal and was a talented seamstress making clothes and curtains, drapes, etc..
I always enjoyed visiting her and my cousins, playing "football" with stuffed socks in the veranda (gallery), stubbing bare toes a lot but always having a good time; also picnicking on the beach with Aunt Ruby and the Brooker kids, eating some of their boiled crabs or sea-eggs and rice.
I also remember her and Uncle Sydney having a great relationship, out-spoken and honest and obviously loving their family. She will be missed and remembered by many I am sure. My condolences to all the family. Bert
