Condolences to the family of Winnie. When I first came to work at B'dos National Oil in 1983 she was a member of staff. She is responsible for planting all the fruit trees at the company. Only 2 weeks ago I was telling some of the younger staff members how she looked after the property faithfully as though it was her home.
May she Rest In Peace and Rise In Glory. May God continue to comfort you at this time of your loss.

From: The 6 remaining staff that work with her at BNOCL

Dear Frances, Richard, Malcolm and “Lovie”,
Permit me to also offer my personal, Heartfelt Condolences to all of you, and to Auntie Winnie’s extended network of family and friends. As Philip said, we all share in the Love and the loss. Auntie Winnie was a one-of-a-kind friend to all of us kids, but especially to our mum/your “Tantie Rosie”. Over the years I have shared with several people, the stories that I know, of the faithful friend that Auntie Winnie was to Mummy, right up to her passing. Beyond that, I also had the honor of reconnecting with Auntie Winnie and enjoying her sharp wit, and her Love, on my most recent trips back to Barbados, and visits to Rendezvous Retreat. She always transformed my day into a more joyous one, whenever we interacted. May your own memories of the sunshine she brought to yourselves and to many others, along with God’s Peace and Comfort, keep you all through this difficult time.

On behalf of the entire Drayton family, we wish to express our sincerest condolences at the lost of a precious soul in Aunty Winnie.

Please be assured of our enduring love and earnest prayers for all of you as you navigate this sorrowful season in your lives.

We are greatly comforted to know that she has gone to be with her Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ who she loved with every fiber of her being.

Of course we will always remember the happy days of playing together as children and our interaction with “Aunty Winnie” over the years, where much laughter and wisdom were always shared.
